Three Orlando Magic players have denied a report that Dwight Howard told the team he would not opt out of his contract and remain with the franchise through the 2012-13 season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports. One said that Howard merely told them that he was "all-in" for the remainder of this season.
The confusion may stem from the interpretation of those in the room when Howard talked to the team. Some came away thinking Howard would stay beyond this year, while others didn't, according to CBS Sports' Ken Berger.
Players who came out of meeting called by Howard today in San Antonio have given conflicting accounts about what Howard said, sources say.

Berger also reports that Howard has not officially signed any paperwork indicating he would stay with the team beyond this season. However, it remains unclear whether Howard delivered a different message to Orlando's management than he did to his teammates.
