The Charlotte Bobcats will listen to trade offers for fourth-year point guard D.J. Augustin, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Wojnarowski reports that several teams are interested in the former Texas Longhorns point guard.
Augustin has played in just 30 games this season and has seen his status fall thanks to the emergence of rookie guard Kemba Walker. Last season, Augustin had a mini-breakout, averaging 14.4 points per game in nearly 34 minutes per contest. His scoring numbers have dropped to 11.8 points per game in just over 30 minutes a game this year.
Augustin is slated to be a restricted free agent this summer, so teams may be wary to trade significant assets to land him. He was selected with the No. 9 pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
