The Houston Rockets have acquired the size they were seeking from the Portland Trail Blazers during the NBA trade deadline's 11th hour. According to Yahoo!'s Mark J. Spears, the Rockets acquired soon-to-be 38-year-old center Marcus Camby from the Blazers in exchange for youth in center Hasheem Thabeet, guard Jonny Flynn and a 2012 second-round pick.
The Rockets had been pursuing Camby for a long while and Houston was reportedly Camby's preference of destinations should he be traded. Camby is averaging six points and over 14 rebounds per 36 minutes this season, his 16th in the league.
The Trail Blazers already sent Gerald Wallace to the New Jersey Nets today and are still hoping to trade shooting guard Jamal Crawford.
