In all the excitement of the 2012 NCAA Tournament, the NBA has taken a bit of a back seat over the past couple of weeks. That will all change very soon, as the playoff chase is heating up and the postseason draws ever closer. On Sunday night, two of the league's best teams will face off in what could potentially be a preview of this year's NBA Finals.
The Miami Heat are second in the Eastern Conference with a 35-11 record and hold a four-game winning streak as they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. The Thunder have been in possession of the top spot in the Western Conference for nearly the entire season. They are 36-12 and looking to make a statement tonight as Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant lead their team against Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Durant has averaged 32.2 points in his last five games against the Heat.
Sunday's game will tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
