VIDEO: Amway Arena Imploded, Jimmy Roberts Says 'Boom Goes The Dynamite'

Amway Arena was given a proper burial on Sunday morning as crews hit the detonation button and imploded it just after dawn. Arena and dome implosions are always amazing -- especially unplanned ones, right Minnesota? -- so we figured we'd show the video of the demolition. People like loud noises and explosions, don't they?

But to make it even better, Jimmy Roberts was narrating the implosion and decided to have a little fun. Sure, he started off in a serious way, but really stuck the dismount by uttering one famous Youtube phrase. Yes, Roberts said "boom goes the dynamite" with a wry smile on his face.

Not realizing what I was watching, this was a jarring scene at first. It looked like a Michael Bay movie -- did you know he likes explosions and loud noises -- until Roberts explained what was happening.

Let's have an implosion every Sunday, shall we? It would be the grandest way to end every weekend ever.
