The Boston Celtics will have their Hall-of-Fame shooting guard on the floor Sunday afternoon when they take on Jeremy Lin, Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks. Ray Allen will play, the team announced, despite spending Saturday in the hospital with a, shall we say, problematic stomach bug.
Ray says he feels fine today will play vs. Knicks. Says he spent a day at New England Baptist Hospital and couldn't keep any food down.

The Celtics need Allen if they're planning on putting a halt to Linsanity. Boston has won their last three games after dropping five straight, but no one is convinced that they're back on track when those three wins come against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and New Jersey Nets. They're 18-17, and the Knicks are 18-18, so this game has big implications in the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference playoff races.
