Knicks Vs. Celtics Score Update: New York Up 56-51 At Half

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Celtics are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, so of course the Knicks have somehow painted this game with an All-Star Game tinge. New York shot 56 percent in the first half and lead the Celtics by a score of 56-51 at halftime of their Sunday afternoon showdown.

Carmelo Anthony leads New York with 12 points and two assists while Amar'e Stoudemire added 10 points and five rebounds.

Jeremy Lin has struggled a bit with more turnovers (four) and fouls (three) than points (two). But he's also turned in some typical Jeremy Lin Video Highlights.

Paul Pierce has 10 points and five rebounds -- and this pure embarrassment of Steve Novak -- to show for himself so far.
