ANIMATED: Iman Shumpert Dunks On Kevin Garnett, Then Tells Him About It

Iman Shumpert hasn't made a lot of noise in NBA circles since the Jeremy Lin hype train started last month, but the New York Knicks rookie guard showed on Sunday afternoon he's still worthy of being talked about.

Shumpert had one of many highlight plays during the Knicks game against the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon when he attempted to dunk on Kevin Garnett. The word "attempted" is included not because Shumpert missed the dunk, but because Garnett wisely got out of the way before the dunk was completed.

It doesn't sound like a Garnett-type play, but the animated video is included below as evidence.

Um yeah, wow.

Garnett first seems like he wants to take a charge and then kind of casually swats at the ball with his right hand. Once he realized what was about to happen, however, the wily vet decided to do what was best and get out of the way.

As the gif above shows, Shumpert apparently had some words for KG regarding the above-described decision making.
