Dwyane Wade was probably ready for a chilly reception in Los Angeles this Sunday after a hard foul on Kobe Bryant in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game last Sunday.
But Wade's frustrations on the day have been about fouls, plural, and not that foul. After racking up four in quick succession in the fourth quarter, he fouled out of the game.
The sequence took just more than three minutes of game clock, and, well, Wade might have a few quibbles, but these all look like pretty legitimate calls.
The worry for the Heat might be that Wade has slumped as LeBron James is heating up. He left today's game with 16 points, but on 17 shots, and had five turnovers mitigate the impact of his five assists and four rebounds. And a late Wade foul against the Utah Jazz on Friday night helped the Jazz pull that game out.
