Mike Brown really wanted the ref to know a crime was being committed right in front of his eyes. He was adamant about that three-second violation and was pointing it out to the nearby ref in an animated way. The only problem? Brown's plan backfired on him just a bit.
Here's the sequence captured by a sideline cam. Not only does Brown have his hand swatted, he also receives a technical foul for his troubles.
Has anyone told Brown nobody calls a three-second violation anymore?
