Bulls Vs. Sixers Final Score: Derrick Rose Takes Over In 96-91 Win

Derrick Rose scored a game-high 45 points and the Chicago Bulls overcame a six-point halftime deficit to beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night, 96-91. It didn't come easy for the Bulls, who took over in the third quarter, then had to hang on as the Sixers tried to rally in the fourth.

Rose was all over the place in the second half, scoring in bunches and hitting shots from all over the court. He was money down the stretch, also draining two buzzer beaters in the second and third quarters.

And there was this, which basically sealed the game with under a minute to go in the fourth.

The Sixers made it interesting, though, cutting the lead to two with 15 seconds to go. After Tajh Gibson hit one-of-two free throws, Philly had one last chance to tie the game in regulation.

However, a disaster of a last play, that involved a player hitting the deck while trying to cut and an Andre Iguodala three-point attempt over two Bulls, ended harmlessly. Iguodala's three hit glass and nothing else -- he also airballed a three earlier -- and Joakhim Noah sealed the game at the line.

Noah finished with a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Rose added eight assists to go with his game-high 35 points. Thaddeus Young led the way for the Sixers, scoring 17 points off the bench. Elton Brand, Nicola Vucevic and Iguodala each added 14 points for the Sixers in the loss.
