The Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. is overflowing with Los Angeles Lakers fans right now. This is to be expected, because Washington D.C. is a bandwagon transplant city and the few residents in town that still cheer for the woeful Washington Wizards are in a corner somewhere burying their faces in their hands. (That includes me, by the way. Don't ask how I'm able to type this).
Many of these Lakers fans are sporting some eccentric jerseys and props to show their fandom. This one, however, takes the cake.
It's only a matter of time until Kobe Bryant masks become collector's items, which means it's only a matter of time until some other Lakers fan buys one, which means we may soon be treated to an ENTIRE ARENA full of masked Lakers fans. This must be what the Mayans had in mind when they said the world was going to end.
