Derrick Rose, who has missed nine consecutive games with a strained groin, will be a game-time decision for the Chicago Bulls' nationally televised Sunday matinee against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters after Saturday's practice in Oklahoma City that the decision would be made Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET tip.
Rose has missed 19 of Chicago's 53 games this season. The Bulls are 14-5 without Rose (.736) and 28-6 with him (.824). The Thunder are a particularly difficult opponent, however, and sit two games behind Chicago for the best record in the league. The Bulls are 42-11, and the Thunder are 39-12.
Rose last played on March 12 in a victory over the New York Knicks. He had 32 points, seven assists and six rebounds in nearly 43 minutes of action. Sunday's game is the only regular-season meeting between the two teams. In two contests last season, the home team won each game.
