Mavericks Vs. Bulls Score: Chicago Leads 44-38 At Halftime

Stay connected with SB Nation

Derrick Rose has seen some limited minutes and is taking limited shots as he tries to ease himself back into playoff shape following multiple injuries, but he's been efficient and effective so far. The Chicago Bulls were consistently respectable, but not spectacular offensively in the first two quarters of their game against the Dallas Mavericks, while Dallas had two very different quarters. At halftime, Chicago leads 44-38.

Dallas scored just eight points on 21 percent shooting in the first quarter, but they managed 30 points in the second quarter. They're up to 34 percent from the floor. Dirk Nowitzki is having a decent night with 12 points on 5-10 shooting, but he has been his team's only consistent offensive threat. Rose has nine points and four assists at the half.
