The Boston Celtics are the No. 4 seed in the 2012 NBA Playoffs' East bracket, but they will go on the road in the first round, as the No. 5 Atlanta Hawks claimed home court advantage with a win on Thursday. The Celtics and Hawks had previously met in the 2008 playoffs, with the upstart Atlanta squad taking the elite eventual champions from Beantown to seven games. The C's did not win on the road in that series.
