The first round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs is scheduled to tip off Saturday. The Chicago Bulls and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the No. 1 seeds in the East and West respectively, are both in play, as are the Knicks and Heat.
The 2012 NBA Playoff schedule was officially set as soon as the final games of the regular season finished up Thursday. The first round of postseason will tip off on Saturday with four games -- three in the Eastern Conference and one in the West.
Both No. 1 seeds are in play, with the Chicago Bulls taking on the Philadelphia 76ers at the United Center at 1 p.m. ET, and the Oklahoma City Thunder playing host to the Dallas Mavericks at 9:30 p.m ET. Plenty of eyes will be on the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat, as well. Carmelo Anthony has been playing some of his best basketball as a Knick during the month of April, averaging just under 30 points per game.
