Knicks Vs. Heat: Tyson Chandler A 'Game-Time Decision' With Flu

Stay connected with SB Nation

It remains unclear whether New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler will play in the team's NBA Playoffs opener against the Miami Heat on Saturday. Chandler came down with a bad flu on Friday and didn't practice, and coach Mike Woodson has deemed Chandler a "game-time decision" for Saturday's game. Via Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Knicks coach Mike Woodson says Tyson Chandler will be a game-time decision today due to stomach flu. "He came down for brunch and finally got some food in his stomach. I'm hoping,"

Chandler arrived on the same bus as the rest of the Knicks' starting lineup, so it would be surprising if he does sit out. If that happens for some reason, Amar'e Stoudemire would shift to center and Landry Fields would return to the starting lineup.

Game 1 will take place at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.
