VIDEO: Tim Duncan Jams, Parties Like It's 1999

Stay connected with SB Nation

Tim Duncan has been around for so long that he was listed as "DNP-Old" on an official scoresheet at one point this year. Now that it's the playoffs, though, Duncan looks pretty spry. Here he is telling the Utah Jazz to take the "DNP-Old" and shove it.

That's the kind of move we used to see from Duncan all the time 10 years ago. He threw in a vicious pump fake on Al Jefferson, then tore the rim down before Derrick Favors could provide help. A couple plays later, he threw in the same rolling lefty hook that he's made his staple for years. Spurs fans, and NBA fans in general, have to love seeing that.

For the Spurs to advance deep in the playoffs, they will need Duncan to turn back the clock and play more like he did 10 years ago. So far, so good.
