More information is coming out about a locker-room incident that caused New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire to suffered a lacerated left hand. Multiple reports now suggest that Stoudemire suffered the injury because he punched a fire extinguisher.

It remains unclear if Stoudemire will miss any time with the injury, but paramedics were called to the scene, so it certainly doesn't look good. Stoudemire, along with the rest of the Knicks, were frustrated after dropping Game 2 in their first-round series against the Miami Heat. The 104-94 loss puts New York in a 2-0 hole with Game 3 scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden on Thursday.
