NBA Scores: Magic Slip Without Dwight Howard, Suns Win

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Magic fell again without Dwight Howard, and the Suns survived a DeMarcus Cousins onslaught.

Here's a look at the other NBA results from Tuesday.

Pistons 102, Magic 95: Dwight Howard missed a second game due to back spasms allegedly caused by Brendan Haywood's fist. For the second time, the Magic lost. Ryan Anderson also sat with a bad ankle, leaving the barn door wide open for Glen Davis, who scored 31. But in Dwight's absence, Greg Monroe swallowed up the universe and produced 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Spurs 125, Cavaliers 90: The Spurs shot 59 percent from the floor. They produced 1.4 points per possession -- the best teams in the league for the season are around 1.1. Patrick Mills -- remember him? -- led the way with 20 off the bench.

Suns 109, Kings 100: DeMarcus Cousins racked up 41 points and 12 rebounds, but Phoenix relied on trusty Steve Nash (18 points, 12 assists) and Marcin Gortat (20 points and 10 rebounds) to get the win. But DMC, though ...

Raptors 92, Bobcats 87: In the game of the century assuming that we are truly living in the dystopian revival, Toronto came away with the win. Byron "No B.J." Mullens took 21 shots. This is what it has come down to.
