With the win, the Lakers take a 2.5 game lead over the Clippers for the third position in the Western Conference and the Lakers also claim the season series.
Shawn Marion helped the Dallas Mavericks (31-24) shut down Rudy Gay and the Memphis Grizzlies (30-23) in the second half on Wednesday night. Dallas won 95-85 after Memphis only scored 34 points in the second half.
