Rockets Vs. Lakers Final Score: Andrew Bynum Ejected In Houston Win

Goran Dragic and Luis Scola were spectacular for the Houston Rockets on Friday night in a win, but they're unlikely to be the biggest story that comes out of this game. Andrew Bynum stole the show early in the fourth quarter, and not in a good way. Less than a minute into the game's final period, while already on one technical foul, Bynum taunted the Rockets bench and got ejected. LA kept it close throughout the fourth, but was obviously missing something inside without their center, as the Rockets won 112-107.

This is the second consecutive game in which Bynum has been ejected, which is not a good look for a player that was recently fined for skipping a meeting with his general manager. Bynum was extremely effective in his time on the floor, scoring 19 points and grabbing seven rebounds.

The Kobe System was kept in check on Friday, as Kobe Bryant took just 20 shots from the field. He made just eight of them, but was an extremely effective 11-11 from the free throw line in a 28-point performance. Pau Gasol posted a double-double, while Metta World Peace was somehow 8-13 from the floor in a 23 point performance. Do not adjust your internet machines, it is not 2005.

Though the Lakers had plenty of offense without Bynum, they struggled defensively down the stretch. Bynum's absence made things a bit easier for Scola, who scored eight of his 25 points during a three minute stretch in the fourth quarter. Dragic had 26 points and 11 assists, and closed out the night with two clutch free throws to ice the game for the Rockets.
