One week they look like the most dysfunctional team on the planet, the next, they somehow become the most exhilarating team in the entire league, and then it all falls apart again.
On a daily basis, the Knicks, their fans and the New York media gave us manic mood swings, and they did it with a flair for ridiculousness that just kept on one-upping itself. Whether New York was winning or losing, watching it from afar never stopped being entertaining.
