Net Cords: James Harden's Play Eclipsed Only By His Beard Cult Following

Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden burst on to the national stage last season when folks got to see him in the playoffs. This season, he's only improved and was the hands-down winner of the NBA Sixth Man Of The Year Award.

Harden can shoot, drive and late in the game is the best play-maker on a team that features two All-NBA players. He's a great competitor and a fantastic fit on the Thunder team. But really, what seems to matter as much (if not more) is his massive and incredible beard.

SB Nation's Welcome To Loud City has full coverage of Harden's beard, including a beard video and wallpaper.

New Thunder Music Video: Beard Like Harden - Welcome to Loud City
Well, I'll be the first to admit that this video is definitely not my style, and I wouldn't be caught dead listening to Maroon 5. But this video is some people's bag and it's well produced, so I'm obligated to post it here. And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash the guys.

James Harden "Fear the Beard" Wallpaper - Welcome to Loud City
James Harden of the Oklahoma City Thunder took over down the stretch as the Thunder came from 13 down to sweep the Dallas Mavericks out of the 2012 NBA playoffs. It was a record setting performance by Harden who is the first player since Manu Ginobili to score more than 25 points in the playoffs coming off the bench. The Sixth Man of the Year dominated as he controlled the game through the fourth quarter. Download your celebratory wallpapers today by clicking the link below...

'Net Cords' features the great work being done by the SB Nation network of NBA team sites.
