The Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat both advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals after nearly sweeping their opponents in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Heat took out the New York Knicks in five games, just missing the sweep in a close 89-87 loss in Game 4 of the series. For the most part, the Heat clearly looked like the better team and finished off the series in five games, ready to tip off against the Pacers on Sunday afternoon.

The Pacers -- like the Heat -- let the Magic steal a game in the series. Orlando nabbed Game 1 on the road, but outside of that the Pacers dominated the rest of the series winning the next four games in a row. During the regular season, the Pacers lost three of their four match ups with Miami, winning the final game between the two.
