The Lakers advanced to meet the Thunder in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. That series begins on Monday.
The L.A. Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of their 2012 NBA Playoffs series on Saturday, advancing to meet the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder have been off for a week after sweeping the Dallas Mavericks, but the Lakers will get no rest as the semifinals begin on Monday.
Here's the 7-game schedule for Lakers vs. Thunder. All times are Eastern.
Game 1 - Mon., May 14 at Oklahoma City, 9:30 p.m., TNT
Game 2 - Wed., May 16 at Oklahoma City., 9:30 p.m., TNT
Game 3 - Fri., May 18 at L.A., 10:30 p.m., ESPN
Game 4 - Sat., May 19 at L.A., 10:30 p.m., TNT
Game 5 - Mon., May 21 at Oklahoma City, TNT
Game 6 - Wed., May 23 at L.A., ESPN
Game 7 - Sun., May 27 at Oklahoma City, TNT
You'll notice that Games 3 and 4 are on a Friday and Saturday. Blame the Nuggets for taking L.A. to seven games: that required a schedule crunch in the second round to ensure that the NBA Finals can begin on time.
