The 76ers are an offensive team that moves a lot off the ball, so how are the Celtics stifling that player movement? They’re overplaying the first action so aggressively that the 76ers can’t coordinate their ball and player movement.
That last play before the timeout was a perfect example. The 76ers needed to execute a simple dribble hand-off option to get their offense moving, but the Celtics wouldn’t let them run it. Meanwhile, the rest of the 76ers, who can only start cutting once that action is completed, just stood there.
Boston’s defense: so hot right now.
