As long as the Spurs are using the sideline as a sixth defender, Chris Paul really can’t do that much. He can try to get aggressive, but there’s just so little space to operate on the baseline.
No, this is on Vinny Del Negro. He has to try to find some way to get Paul the ball where he’s not being squeezed along the sidelines.
