Sixers Battle Back From Brink, Even Series

The Philadelphia 76ers climbed out of a huge hole on Friday, coming back to beat the Lakers, 92-83, and even the series at two games apiece.

76ers Vs. Celtics, 2012 NBA Playoffs Game 4: Philadelphia Completes Comeback, Wins 92-83

The Boston Celtics looked to be in control for most of Game 4, but the Philadelphia 76ers erased an 18-point deficit and pulled away to win 92-83. The best-of-seven series is now tied 2-2.

Boston started the game on a 14-0 run and didn't trail until 9:48 to play in the fourth quarter. Rajon Rondo posted his third double-double of the series, finishing with 15 points and 15 assists. Paul Pierce led the Celtics in scoring with 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting.

The 76ers scored the final nine points of the game and closed the game on a 16-5 run. Andre Iguodala scored eight of his 16 points in the final 3:11 of the game to lead the Sixers. Lavoy Allen scored eight points and pulled down 10 rebounds in 31 minutes off the bench.

The series will now shift back to Boston for Game 5 on Monday.

Andre Iguodala On Fire, 76ers Lead

Andre Iguodala was having a quiet Game 4, but has caught fire late in the fourth quarter, helping the 76ers surge into the lead.

Iguodala has eight points since the 3:11 mark of the fourth, doubling his total for the game. He has made his last three shots, including two crucial 3-pointers.

Celtics And 76ers Going Back And Forth

The Celtics never trailed during the first three quarters of Game 4, but the fourth quarter has been a different story.

Philadelphia came all the way back from an 18-point deficit to take the lead. There have been seven lead changes and eight ties during the fourth quarter alone.

Rajon Rondo's Impressive Assist Streak

Rajon Rondo has been an assist machine against the 76ers. During the first three games of the series, Rondo racked up 44 assists.

He finished Game 1 with 17 assists, had 13 in Game 2 and had 14 in Game 3. Rondo has 14 assists so far in Game 4, making him the only player since 1986 to have 13 or more assists in four straight playoff games.

Evan Turner Keeps On Missing

The good news for Evan Turner is that he's taken a game-high 20 shots. The bad news for Turner is that he's made only four of them.

Despite Turner's shooting struggles, the 76ers have come all the way back to tie the Celtics 63-63.

Fouls Mounting Against Celtics

The Celtics are yet to trail in Game 4 against the 76ers, but Philadelphia is making a run and fouls are beginning to pile up against Boston.

Brandon Bass, Avery Bradley and Rajon Rondo all have four personal fouls while Kevin Garnett has three. As a team, Boston has been called for 23 fouls compared to 13 for the 76ers. Jrue Holiday has four fouls and is the only Philadelphia player with more than two.

76ers Making A Comeback

The 76ers trailed by 15 at halftime and by as many as 18 in the third quarter, but have cut the Celtics' lead to five with just over five minutes to play in the third.

Philadelphia used a 10-0 run to cut into the lead and have outscored Boston 15-5 in the third quarter. Boston is 0-for-9 on field goal attempts in the third quarter.

Avery Bradley Injury: Shoulder Pops Out, Celtics Guard Keeps Playing

Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley, who has battled a left shoulder injury throughout the playoffs, is playing through pain in Game 4. Bradley was fouled by Jrue Holiday with 10:49 to play in the third quarter and it appeared his left shoulder popped out for the third time this postseason.

Bradley walked hunched over toward the Celtics' bench before gathering himself to shoot the two free throws. Ray Allen went to the scorer's table to replace Bradley, but Bradley stayed in the game. He suffered a similar injury in Game 2 of this series and Game 3 of Boston's first-round series against Atlanta.

Celtics Vs. Sixers Score Update: Boston Leads 46-31 At Halftime

Boston jumped out to a 14-0 lead to start Game 4 and took a 15-point lead into halftime against the 76ers. Boston leads the series 2-1.

Boston's Brandon Bass leads all scorers with 13 points. Paul Pierce made his first three shots and finished the first half with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Rajon Rondo nearly posted a double-double in the first half with nine points and nine assists.

The 76ers made just 9-of-39 field goal attempts with Jrue Holiday leading Philadlephia with 10 points. Evan Turner especially struggled shooting in the first half, finishing 2-of-14 from the field.
