Playing their first home game of the series, the Lakers got off to a quick start and take an eight-point lead into the second quarter.
Los Angeles started the game on an 8-0 run and stretched the lead to 12 before Oklahoma City mounted a small comeback. The Lakers' starters scored all 23 first quarter points for Los Angeles, including six by Kobe Bryant.
Oklahoma City is yet to make a 3-point attempt, going 0-for-5 in the first quarter.
