The San Antonio Spurs tied for the NBA's best record during the 2011-12 regular season, earning the Western Conference's No. 1 seed as a result. In Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Utah Jazz, the Spurs are showing how they got it, and are up 53-28 at halftime.

San Antonio opened the first quarter on a 17-4 run, and ended the first half with a 22-2 run that included a 20-0 stretch. And it's not even the usual suspects doing damage for the Spurs: Danny Green has 13 points to lead all scorers, Kawhi Leonard has 12 of his own, and the troika of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili has combined for 14 points.

On the bright side for Utah — which made 11 of 47 shots in the half, a scintillating 23.4 percent clip — there are only 24 minutes left in this game.
