Glen Davis Explains His Happy Dance, Needs To Be Interviewed More Often

Stay connected with SB Nation

"You gotta give it a little dance to go in," Glen Davis said when asked why he was high-stepping backwards down the court after hitting a fadeaway. You read that right: "Big Baby" hit a fadeaway (!!!) and danced back down the court, willing the ball into the hoop. It was truly a wonderful moment.

But just as nice was Davis explaining why he felt the urge to break it down. It was emotion, he said, and sometimes a shot on the rim necessitates a little dance to help it along.

The lesson in all this? "Big Baby" needs to be on camera more often.
