Pacers Vs. Heat, 2012 NBA Playoffs Game 4: Indiana Leads 54-46 At Halftime

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Miami Heat continue to be befuddled by a young and hungry Indiana Pacers team. Midway through Sunday's Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series, the Pacers are once again in control. Entering halftime, the Pacers hold a 54-46 lead.

The Heat took their only lead of the game midway through the second quarter and held it only briefly. The Pacers quickly regrouped and opened up another healthy lead by the time the quarter wound down. If the Heat cannot pull things together effectively in the second half, they may find themselves one loss from elimination.

The Pacers are spreading the points around nicely, which speaks to their deep bench, while the Heat are leaning on LeBron James. James has 19 points through the first half, while no other Miami player has more than eight.
