Vince Carter used to do these kinds of highlight dunks every game. It was fun to watch and filled many highlight tapes and YouTube channels. But that was a decade ago. These days, Carter is a floor-bound spot-up shooter, one of many old guys on an old (in basketball terms) Dallas Mavericks team.
Every once in a while, though, Carter's legs cooperate and we see a glimpse of the player he once was. Here he is having one of those moments in Game 3 of the Mavericks' first-round playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
My favorite part of the video, besides Derek Fisher trying to guard Carter, is when Ian Mahinmi runs out of the way to not block his teammates' path. Carter's reaction is pretty cool too, I guess.
