The Boston Celtics failed to keep up with the Miami Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals and lost, 93-79, but on Wednesday night they can get right back into the series when they play Game 2 at AmericanAirlines Arena. Is there anything the Celtics can do to stay alive, or is this just the Heat's series to take? SB Nation's Ben Golliver recently broke down Game 1 and offered some insight into what we can look for in Game 2:
Golliver sees Rajon Rondo as the key cog in getting Boston going against the Heat. If Rondo is able to have a good game, the rest of the team should be able to feed off of that and help the offense reach the high 80s in points.
But that might not be enough to compete against the scoring prowess of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Still, any improvement by the Celtics offense should be able to keep the Celtics within striking distance during this game.
