In the aftermath of Amar'e Stoudemire punching a fire extinguisher following the Knicks' Game 2 loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, there was a report suggesting that half of Stoudemire's left hand looked like it was falling off. All week, we've had to live with that image without having an actual image.
That is, until Friday, when Stoudemire decided to post this picture on his Twitter account. Warning: this is pretty unsettling.
AAAAAAAHHHHH!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!
Making matters worse: Stoudemire tweeted that the wound was "a millimeter away" from his nerve. Imagine if his nerve was affected and he tweeted a photo of his injured hand after that surgery. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to shake that image from my head.
