Understatement, sure, but it’s still worth noting. It’s 11-3 Celtics early, and the Hawks already have three turnovers.
The problem: every time the Hawks make a basket cut, the pass is coming a beat too late. The last possession before the timeout, Marvin Williams made a great diagonal cut to the rim, but the ball didn’t get delivered until after the Celtics slid over and provided the help. Williams fumbled the pass in traffic and it turned into a turnover.
It’s almost as if the Hawks don’t know how to run an offense where players move without the ball. Not that that’s surprising, of course.
