When JaVale McGee got traded to the Denver Nuggets in March, one of my hopes as a basketball fan was to see him hook up with Andre Miller for lots of alley-oops. Miller's arguably the best lob passer in the NBA, and McGee is certainly one of the best lob finishers. It hasn't happened as much as I'd like, but the two hooked up for a hell of a play here early in the fourth quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Miller threw the ball so high so that only McGee could get it, and McGee went up and got it. It was a three-quarter court lob, and it was great.
McGee, by the way, has 17 points and 11 rebounds in this game. Dude's making himself a lot of money when he hits the free-agent market this summer.
