Miami Heat Public Address Announcer Says Amar'e Stoudemire 'Extinguished' From Game

Stay connected with SB Nation

You knew it would only be a matter of time before someone in the building for Game 5 of this first-round matchup in the 2012 NBA playoffs between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks made light of Amar'e Stoudemire's unfortunate fire extinguisher incident after Game 2. I was honestly disappointed that no Heat fans stepped up to the plate with clever signs. Luckily, someone in a more official capacity got the job done.

Stoudemire fouled out of the game midway through the fourth quarter on an offensive foul on Shane Battier. In response, the Heat's public address announcer did this.

Here's video of the sequence. Be sure to turn your speakers up at the eight-second mark, because it's hard to hear.

Well done, sir.
