UPDATE: Griffin is back in the game.
The Los Angeles Clippers are already down double digits to the Memphis Grizzlies early in Game 6, and they may have to play the rest of the game without star Blake Griffin. Marc Gasol came down awkwardly on Griffin's foot, forcing him out of the game with an injury. Here's how it happened.
It remains unclear how serious the injury ends up being. Griffin was slated to get his rest at around the two- or one-minute mark of the first quarter, and that's when he got hurt. However, he has yet to return to the game, and we have reached the end of the first quarter.
If Griffin cannot play for an extended period of time, backups Reggie Evans and Kenyon Martin would assume most of the power forward minutes.
