The Miami Heat have won the NBA Finals. They will now be able to show off their championship trophy in a victory parade on Monday.

The Miami Heat are once again world champions. On Thursday night, they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals to clinch their first championship since 2006 and, perhaps more famously, the first title in the career of superstar LeBron James. There was, of course, an all-night party following the win, but on Monday, the entire city of Miami will get to take part in a victory parade.

The Miami Herald reports that the parade festivities will begin at 9 a.m. ET on Monday. The victory parade itself will begin at 11 a.m. ET. Following the parade, the team will go into the American Airlines arena at 12:30 p.m. ET for an additional celebration.

The exact parade route and further details have not yet been released, but you can bet that there will be plenty of Heat fans coming out to show their love for the team.
