Royce White Wonders What Aliens Would Think Of Basketball

As an addendum to Tuesday's Sports Illustrated story on Royce White, the writer of that profile gives us this quote from the cutting room floor:

Royce: Now think about when aliens come here. When aliens come here and they see me throwing a ball in a hoop, what are they going to think? They’re going to be like: "This dude is wasting all his time."

Put yourself in a GM's shoes. That's gotta one of the most unsettling pre-draft quotes of all time, right? The answer's easy though. Aliens would see basketball as a new world to be conquered, and they'd kidnap LeBron James or Kevin Durant to steal their talent and form their own team of supervillians. Matter of fact, do we know for sure that LeBron himself isn't a Space Jam villain? Riddle me THAT, Royce.
