Financial details are still unknown, but it was reported last week that the Thunder were offering more than $4 million per season.
Brooks led the Thunder to a 47-19 record and a berth in the NBA Finals this season. It was his third full season as head coach after he took over the job midway through the 2008-09 season. Brooks has coached 299 regular season games in Oklahoma City, compiling a 174-125 overall record.
