Spurs Are Poised, But Mostly, They're Hitting Shots

It is true that the San Antonio Spurs are off to a very strong start in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but I’m not sure I’d bang the drum about them playing "poised." I guess they are, but I think they’re mostly just making shots. While Tony Parker has gotten into the lane a couple times, the main source of offense for the Spurs has been midrange jumpers.

Those shots are open, sure, but the Thunder probably will live with them if it means keeping the Spurs off the 3-point line and out of the lane.
