Blake Griffin has agreed to a five-year, $95 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to reports. Griffin is coming off his second consecutive All-Star season, during which he averaged 20.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, and terrorized defenders at the rim.

Griffin was reported to have agreed to the same extension at the end of the June, but his business manager denied the report saying no decision had taken place. Griffin has now apparently followed through with the deal.

The extension will take effect at the start of the 2013-14 season. Griffin was eligible for an early extension as a first-round pick with three or more years of experience in the NBA playing on his rookie contract.
