Las Vegas NBA Summer League Scores And Results: Hawks, Rockets Pick Up Wins

The 2012 NBA Summer League continued on Friday with a handful of games in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Cox Pavillion. In the early game of the day, the Atlanta Hawks took down the Washington Wizards 102-82, a game that saw the Wiz struggled to get off to a steady start, scoring just 34 points total at halftime.

Keith Benson and John Jenkins led the Hawks in scoring with 19 points each while Brad Wanamaker picked up 13 points in nearly 23 minutes. For the Wizards, first-round pick Bradley Beal had a nice debut leading the Wiz in scoring with 22 points and two blocks. Chris Singleton also picked up 20 points while Jan Vesely picked up a double-double with 11 points and... 10 fouls.

The second game of the day in Las Vegas saw the Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors square off, with the Rockets picking up a 93-81 win. Center Donata Motiejunas led the way with 25 points on the day and a near double-double with nine rebounds. Rookies Terrance Jones and Jeremy Lamb also had nice debuts, with 17 and 16 points respectively.

For the Raptors, Terrance Ross led the way with 21 points while Ed Davis finished up with 18 points and 8 rebounds.
