New York Knicks point guard Jason Kidd was arrested on a DWI charge in Southampton early Sunday morning, but details of the arrest weren't readily available. Details of the incident, however, are now beginning to come to light, such as the fact that Kidd was the only person in the vehicle.

Police say Kidd's Cadillac Escalade struck a telephone pole and went into the woods.He was the only person in the car.

Kidd was taken to Southampton Hospital to be treated for minor injuries and then released into police custody. The 39-year-old point guard was arraigned on misdemeanor DWI charge in Southampton Town Justice Court and later released.
