If Kyrie Irving thinks his broken hand is gonna get him out of his one-on-one game against Kobe Bryant, then he is sadly mistaken.
After turning heads practicing against USA Basketball's Olympic basketball team, Kyrie Irving broke his hand in the NBA Summer League. Seems the young man was a bit frustrated and decided to slap a wall. Guess that lesson had to be learned the hard way.
What else will Irving learn the hard way? Not to talk trash to Kobe Bryant. Because, if you think this will get Kyrie out of his much-discussed one-on-one game against Kobe, he hasn't paid much attention.
You think Kobe, the gladiator, will see a little boo boo like a broken hand serve as an excuse to get out of a scheduled contest? We at "Bomani & Jones" don't.
Best of luck, Kyrie. Old heads play dirty.
