The 2012 NBA Summer League continues from Las Vegas on Friday with seven contests, including one featuring the NBA champions' Summer League team against the Western Conference's No. 1 seed's Summer League team.
The Heat and Spurs play at 8 p.m. ET in Vegas, and the two teams' Summer League rosters feature players who will be expected to contribute in playoff series going forward. Miami is led by Norris Cole and has Dexter Pittman and Jarvis Varnado up front, while Kawhi Leonard, James Anderson and JaMychal Green anchor the Spurs squad.
Elsewhere, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson lead the Cavaliers against the winless New York Knicks in the day's first game (why are the Knicks winless, you ask? Toney Douglas is their best player in Vegas), and two teams with tons of young talent, the Nuggets and Trail Blazers, collide at 6 p.m. ET.
Every 2012 Las Vegas Summer League game can be watched on NBA TV or with a subscription to Summer League Broadband. Friday's complete schedule can be found below. All times are Eastern.
