It was a busy Saturday at the Las Vegas Summer League with 14 teams in action. A few of the teams played their final game of Summer League as play from Las Vegas wraps up on Sunday.
Minnesota's Wes Johnson was the leading scorer of the day with 28 points. He is now averaging 22.7 points per game in three Summer League contests. Johnson made 9-of-14 shots as Minnesota beat the D-League Select team 86-78. Phoenix's Markieff Morris was the third leading scorer Saturday, pouring in 25 points in the Suns 96-87 win over Memphis.
Portland beat Miami by 26 points, 81-55, despite the fact Portland played without several notable players including Damian Lillard. Lillard played in four Summer League games, averaging 26.5 points and 5.3 assists per game. Adam Morrison continued his comeback attempt, leading the Clippers with 18 points. Morrison is now averaging 18.5 points in four Summer League games.
